As a user experience designer, I work closely with teams to create cross-platform digital experiences from beginning to end. My role on any project is to ensure the product being built solves a business problem, meets user needs true to research, and is as accessible as possible for all individuals. Whether it’s brainstorming ideas with the team, building a product from scratch, or optimizing an existing flow- I approach each set of tasks with great energy and I love what I do.
My mission is to create positive impact through design. Which sounds like a bit of a cliché, but I'm invested in designing experiences that help.
I graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Communication Design. I currently work on a USCIS contract over at Publicis Sapient. I'm part of a small team of designers improving the immigration process by transforming a disjointed paper world into a seamless, systematic digital experience. My career started at an Austin based agency called T3 where I worked to build neat products for big name brands (Ex: UPS, Home Depot, Allstate, WM, & Staples).
I love hiking and traveling with a camera in hand. My bad habits include a great love of queso and probably overusing emojis. When I'm not hovering over a laptop, you can catch me looking at clouds, hanging out with my wife Patti, or trying to make friends with a cat somewhere.
